Miami DB Has First Offer

Last year Miami Killian was home to one of the nation's top defensive backs in FSU-signee J.R. Bryant, and this fall Demetrice Morley will see to it that the Killian DB tradition carries on.
Last fall Morley began to make a name for himself with his performance on the field, picking off a team-best nine passes and registering 53 tackles while lining up at both free safety and cornerback, helping the Cougars go 11-3 and advance to the Class 6A State Semifinals.

The 6-0, 180 pound Morley, who also blocked three punts a year ago, was named Honorable Mention All-Dade County at the conclusion of the 2003 season. He's also a standout track performer, with a best of 10.7 in the 100 meter dash.
Colleges around the country have taken notice of Morley's speed and play on the field last fall, as he is receiving regular mail from Florida, Miami, NC State, Auburn and others.
"Right now I like Miami and Florida State along with LSU, NC State and Florida," says Morley of his early favorites.
"NC State has offered me."
Morley would like to major in Business Management in college and lists early playing time as his primary factor in making his college decision. He carries a 2.5 GPA and will attend the NIKE Camp in Miami as well as camps at Florida and NC State.
