Miami commit to visit two others

Live Oak (Fla.) Suwanee cornerback Bruce Johnson is one of those top notch prospects that flew under the radar, got an offer from his dream school, committed shortly after and much hasn’t been heard from them since. While he is still firmly committed to the Canes, he could be looking to take additional official visits.
“I am still 100-percent committed to play for the University of Miami,” Johnson said. “That is my dream school and when they offered I jumped on it. I don’t think much is going to change that.”

The 6-foot-0, 170-pound Johnson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds and is ranked as the nation’s No. 21 cornerback and the No. 28 prospect in Florida.
“I haven’t set up my official visit to Miami yet, I think they want me to take it after the season,” Johnson said. “I have been to every Miami home game so far except for the Thursday night game with Louisville.”
While Johnson insists his commitment to the Canes is an extremely firm one, there is an outside chance he could take official visits to two other well known schools.
“Auburn and Clemson offered me a while back and have been calling me like every single week,” Johnson said. “They have really been wanting me to take an official visit there. I told them maybe, but that it is a big maybe.”
So far this season Johnson has approximately 40 catches for 500 yards and two touchdowns on offense and on defense has 60 tackles, two interceptions, 10 pass break-ups and two blocked field goals.
