Miami back headed to the MAC
Miami (Fla.) Pace running back Willie Geter is heading to the Mid-American Conference to play college football.
The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder committed to Bowling Green after taking an official visit there in November.

"I felt comfortable with the coaching staff," he said. "I also like the offense and as far as playing as a freshman goes, I have an opportunity to do that."
Geter, who also plays defensive back, is excited about playing running back for the Falcons.
"I was always a running back, but when you go to camps, they don't have too much for the running backs to do, so I always work out as a defensive back when I go there," he said.
Geter topped the 1,000 yard mark and had 18 touchdowns his senior year.
Akron offered Geter a scholarship and South Florida has been recruiting him since his commitment as well, but he remains firm with the Falcons.
