Euless (Texas) Trinity three-star safety Desmond Williams is a big reason why his team is 7-1 in district play this season, and he’s hoping to be an even bigger reason why Trinity beats rival Bell in the regular season finale this weekend.

“It’s a big game, and they’re a big rival,” Williams, ranked as the nation’s No. 23 safety by Rivals.com, said. “I know they like to run the option, so it’ll be a big game for our defensive backs to come up and make a play.”
Williams is the type of play-making safety that has caught the eye of countless college coaches. At this point, Williams has already taken an official visit to Arizona State back on October 3. He is in the process of setting something up with Arkansas, LSU and then Nebraska.
“It’s still really about the same as it was before,” Williams said. “I still really like Arizona State and LSU, but I’m not limiting my options to anybody. I want to see what it’s like at Nebraska for sure.”
Williams did mention Oklahoma is calling him every once in a while and if the Sooners were to show him more interest he would return the interest.
