Metroplex OL has favorite

Arlington (Texas) Bowie offensive guard Jacob Riley picked up an early scholarship offer from New Mexico and has put one team at the top of his list.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder says that he's also been hearing from Tulsa, Colorado State, and recently got back from a camp stop at Louisiana Monroe. TCU and SMU appear to have dropped off the board, but Riley is satisfied with one school.

"Right now, New Mexico is my only offer and I really like them," Riley said. "That's my favorite right now. I like the school, I'd get to play games here in Texas when I'm on the road and it seems like a good place."
Riley has also struck up a relationship with the offensive line coach and says that the bond really got things clicking with recruiting. Nonetheless, he'll wait around until the season gets going before he pulls the trigger on a decision.
"I'm thinking after the season some time, I'd like to commit," he said. "If that's the only school that offers, then I get to play in Texas when I'm on the road and I'd be satisfied with that."
