Many people may not have known about Fort Worth (Texas) Arlington Heights outside linebacker Jake Proctor until his NIKE Training Camp performance in College Station. Now, his first offer has come in and his stock is rising.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder did well in competition against some of the better prospects in Texas in late April at the NIKE event. Wyoming officially offered him with other schools coming close as well. Proctor is just excited to be on the radar.
"I was excited to hear from Wyoming," Proctor said. "I guess I'm not really looking at them that hard just yet, but I'm not completely throwing the idea out either. I've gotten letters from Iowa, Arkansas, Duke, TCU, and then Baylor called on the last day in May."
Proctor's early top three includes TCU, Iowa, and Arkansas. The talented linebacker says that it has a lot to do with being close to home.
"I wouldn't mind playing in my hometown," Proctor said about TCU. "Iowa and Arkansas are prestigious programs. That's why I like them.
Proctor is also not wasting time with camp plans. So far he's planning to hit Baylor, Iowa, Arkansas, TCU, and then SMU for an unofficial visit.
"I'm not going to commit real early or anything," he said. "But, I'd like to make a decision as soon as I can. Probably after football season is when it will happen."
