Metroplex DB has Bears still leading

Arlington (Texas) Bowie cornerback Andre Richardson wasn't likely to stop at just one scholarship offer. That became reality when the talented defender picked up his second this past week.
The 6-foot, 175-pounder had been holding one offer from Baylor. After visiting there only, they were in the early lead. More competition is probably coming and a new offer emphasized that.

"UTEP offered me a couple of days ago," Richardson said. "I'm interested but I'm still waiting on more options. Anybody that offers, I'm going to be interested in them."
Baylor remains his leader.
"It's just the coaching staff and everything," Richardson said. "When I was there for a visit, it was great. They treated me real well. Plus, I haven't been anywhere else to compare."
Central Florida has given him an invite to their junior day, but Richardson isn't sure if he can make it. A few other schools could get possible trips.
"I want to visit UTEP since they offered," he said. "Houston is starting to get in the mix, so I'm thinking about a trip down there too.
"I'd like to decide before the summer."
