Meredith cuts list to two

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei defensive lineman Cameron Meredith has double digit scholarship offers from schools all over the country. He just recently cut his list to two and could make his decision by the end of the week.
Meredith, 6-5, 225 pounds is a very talented player who could be the top defensive player in Orange County next year. As a junior, the lineman totaled 60 tackles and eight sacks to earn all-league and all-area honors. He's a big physical kid with a great motor and plays very hard.

On the recruiting front, Meredith picked up offers from the entire Pac 10 minus USC and UCLA plus Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Boise State.
"He's down to Oklahoma and Nebraska," Meredith's mother Katherine said. "We sent out letters to all the schools telling them thanks for their interest and Cameron could be ready to make his announcement public by the end of the week.
"He has actually already made up his mind on a school. We just want the other schools to hear it from us first and then we can release the news."
We hope to get a hold of Meredith later today to get more on his announcement and where he may be leaning between the two Big 12 powers.
