Menner makes it official for Air Force

Garland, Texas offensive tackle Austin Menner became the second prospect for his high school to make a commitment.
First it was defensive tackle Casey Walker who committed to Oklahoma a few weeks ago and now Menner, the 6-foot-4, 269 pound offensive tackle who has made his pick for Air Force this weekend after an unofficial visit to the campus.

"They had a junior day there on Saturday and just seeing the campus and how nice it was, it was hard to turn down," Menner said.
Menner says that he brings a lot to the table both in terms of his run blocking and pass blocking ability.
"I have good foot speed," Menner said. "I'm quick off the ball both in my pass blocking, but in my run blocking as well."
Menner says that he was being recruited by some schools as a center, but at Air Force he will stay as a left tackle. Unless something drastically changes with his recruiting process, Menner says Air Force is "probably it" for him.
