Memphis WR wants to decide soon

Memphis (Tenn.) Evangelical Christian wide receiver Casey Hill is a rare breed these days. It's hard to find prospects that make a decision based on their academic future and not their athletic future, but that is exactly the case with Hill.
"I am taking an official visit to Wake Forest on January 14 and one to Virginia on January 21," Hill said. "Virginia has not offered me yet, but they said that they want to and that they are going to try to. They are just waiting on some things to shake out and they said that they think they are going to, but as of right now I do not have an offer."

The 5-foot-11, 168-pound Hill attended the NIKE camp in Virginia where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, the shuttle in 4.12 seconds, has a 265-pound bench press and has a 34-inch vertical jump.
"I am really looking hard at Wake Forest, they are my leader," Hill said. "I really like the coaches a lot and I am still talking a lot with Stanford and Virginia. I haven't ruled out Tennessee and Princeton yet either."
As a junior Hill had 720 yards receiving and nine touchdowns. He also had three interceptions on defense as a junior.
"I still have a Tennessee offer if I want it, but I have worked really hard all of my life to make good grades," Hill said. "I have always wanted to go to an academic school, but football is still important. Going to Tennessee to play football would be great too so I have not ruled them out. Either way I would like to have a decision in the next couple of weeks."
