Memphis RB has a top five
Memphis (Tenn.) Melrose running back Graig Cooper was a hot name early in the recruiting process, but as of late we've not heard his name as much. However, he has picked up three new offers and gives a list of favorites.
"I have offers from Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Tennessee State," Cooper said. "I got Tennessee, Louisville and Ole Miss a long time ago, but the others are more recent, I got them during the May evaluation period."

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Cooper attended the NIKE camp in Miami where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds, had a 4.44 second shuttle, a 30-inh vertical jump and did 14 reps on the bench press.
"Right now my favorites would be Miami, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia and Ole Miss would be a real basic top five," Cooper said. "I'm still really open though. Auburn, Arkansas, LSU and some others are ones that I'm looking at too."
Cooper rushed for 1,981 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior. He helped to lead his team to the class 4A state finals as a junior as well.
"I am probably going to take all of my official visits before I make any kind of decision," Cooper said. "I'm not really looking for any certain thing in choosing a school as long as they have my major. I guess it will come down to where I am most comfortable."
He has attended camps at Miami and Tennessee so far this spring, but is done with the exception of a team camp at a Memphis high school.
Cooper is ranked as the No. 10 player in the state of Tennessee.
