One of the top sleeper quarterbacks in the Southeast is finally getting some attention.
Memphis (Tenn.) Wooddale quarterback Jeremy Perry enjoyed a banner senior year in which he threw for 3,052 yards and 26 touchdowns, leading his team to the state quarterfinals.

Recruiters, who showed light interest in Perry before, now have taken notice.
"It's starting to pick up with the ending of our season," Perry said. "I've had Ohio University come in, Middle Tennessee State, (Division I-AA) Tennessee State, Murray State and some others have also come in and laid offers on the table."
The Mid-American Conference runner-up Bobcats are showing strong interest and are in the process of setting up an official visit for Perry.
"They said they are really struggling at the quarterback position right now with a guy who has had some injuries and a couple of guys that couldn't get it done," he said. "They said if I come in and shine, then I have a chance to play as soon as I get up there."
The bowl-bound Blue Raiders also have shown interest.
"They said they really liked my game," Perry said. "They are trying to set up a visit also. They are in the Motor City Bowl, so they are going to get back with me about it because they are busy with practice for the bowl game."
Perry also talked about his senior year.
"I think it went pretty well," he said. "I've matured a lot since my junior season and the game really started to slow down for me and I started to really see the differences between defenses. I ended up putting up good numbers and leading my team to the state quarterfinals, so that was a good year."
Perry is a mid (5.3) two-star rated prospect. He added 231 rushing yards and was only intercepted four times all year.
