Memphis offer catches attention of 2018 Louisiana WR Ja'Marr Chase

The Latest: Class of 2018 wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has quickly emerged as a player to watch in the state of Louisiana and his performance at camps this offseason has only further cemented that assertion. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that the offers keep rolling in, and on Monday he received word from Memphis that he has an offer from the Tigers. With the offer the Tigers join Power Five schools like Ole Miss and Texas Tech on his offer list, one that is sure to grow in the coming weeks and months.

In His Words: "I like them and I actually watched them last year while they were playing in a few games. I like the offense and the style they play. I'm going to try to visit, just not right now. But I like them they're a pretty good school."

Rivals Reaction: Chase figures to have plenty of offers before it's all said and done but the Tigers have the right idea by getting in on him early. He has a busy summer of camps on the docket and an upcoming visit to Texas Tech.
