Memphis LB with one offer

The early returns are showing that this could potentially be a huge year for football talent in the city of Memphis. One of the programs with the most talent year in and year out is Memphis (Tenn.) Whitehaven. This year, one of Whitehaven's top prospects is linebacker Ferlando Bohanna.
At 6-foot-0, 232 pounds and good speed, Bohanna will likely be a highly recruited prospect and the interest is already coming in. He has received one offer from the University of North Carolina.

"They started recruiting our corner (2009 prospect Gene Robinson) and they started talking to me," Bohanna said. "It was my first offer and it just makes me work harder. I'm excited about it. We have a corner going there so that's always a good thing having people we know down there. I like the facilities and I'm just hoping to get down there in the spring to check out the spring practice."
Bohanna says that the only coach that he has talked to has been Butch Davis at North Carolina but he hopes to hear more from the LSU Tigers. Outside of the North Carolina visit, Bohanna also plans to attend at least one camp.
"Actually I'll be in Athens, Georgia for the Nike Combine. I plan on going to Memphis for the Spring game and I plan on going to Ole Miss to check out their Spring Game."
Along with his size, Bohanna sees his instincts as the factor that most sets him apart.
"I'm good at reading coverages," he said. "I'm fast. I can move. I like playing on the outside, playing wide receivers. I'm just a dynamic player. I'm versatile. I can move to middle our outside."
