The Latest: In year's past Memphis didn't aggressively recruit the Nashville area but the new Tigers staff has taken a new approach when it comes to the Class of 2018. On Monday, Memphis was the first program to offer 2018 offensive lineman Cole Mabry, a 6-foot-6 prospect with a high ceiling at the tackle position. Rivals.com caught up with Mabry to get his thoughts on the Tigers.

In His Words: "I'm every exited. Their program is on the upswing and their facilities are very nice and continuing to improve . I think Coach Norvell will keep them headed in the right direction. I really like Coach Silverfield. He has a lot of experience from both college and NFL."

Rivals Reaction: It never hurts to get in early on a prospect with the type of size that Mabry possesses and it's another step in the right direction for the Tigers in terms of building relationships in the Nashville area. The offer from Memphis is likely the first of many for Mabry, who is a prospect to keep an eye on going forward.
