Melton pulls the trigger
For the last few weeks, Tyler (Texas) John Tyler defensive back Matthew Melton has been toying with the idea of committing to the University of Texas.
On Wednesday, he made it official

"It was down to Texas and Texas A&M and I just felt more comfortable at Texas," Melton said. "I sat down with my parents and talked it over and decided to make my commitment.
According to Melton, the decision to become a Longhorn was one that excited the Texas coaching staff.
"Coach (Brown) told me that he was putting my scholarship in a drawer and that he wanted me to visit on December 13th, 14th and 15th with the rest of the guys who have committed,” Melton said.
Melton picked Texas over Texas A&M, Purdue and Arizona.
