Melton has three verbal offers
Grapevine, Texas athlete Henry Melton has not received a formal written scholarship offer, but three schools have extended verbal scholarship offers the the Rivals100 member.
“Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma have verbally offered me,” the 6-foot-3, 230-pound Melton said. “I don’t really favor any of them. I’m not really naming a favorite, but I do like those three schools quite a bit.”

Melton’s busy schedule has prevented him from making it to any junior days this spring.
“I have not been able to make it to any junior days. I’m pretty busy on the weekends and I just haven’t been able to get away at all. I am planning on going to a lot of camps. Right now it is looking like Texas A&M and Texas probably for sure. I’ll see what others might be after those.”
Grapevine is approaching the beginning of spring practices.
“I am ready for spring practices,” he said. “I don’t know whether it starts in two or three weeks, but I’m ready. It is a good chance for some coaches to come by and see us working out and practicing. I hope a lot of coaches come.”
