Meisner looking to take unofficial

Up to this point in the season, Greensburg (Pa.) Hempfield defensive end Greg Meisner has only taken an unofficial locally to Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-2, 228-pounder is trying to get to another school sometime in the near future.
"I'm trying to get to a Kentucky game sometime," he said. "They keep asking me to come down and I want to check them out some more.

"I have been to Pittsburgh for the Virginia game. It was fun, but I've been to Heinz Field a lot."
Currently the two-star prospect holds six offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt, New Hampshire, Delaware and Youngstown State. Is anyone else on the verge of offering him?
"I think Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Toledo are close," he said. "They are talking to me and want to see how I do on my senior season. They have all told me I'll find out more later in the season or afterwards."
With that in mind, Meisner is playing well this season.
"I have 24 tackles, 10 hurries and two sacks," he said. "I think I've played well, but I know I can play better. I am getting a lot of pressure on the quarterback, but they are always getting rid of it right when I hit them. It's frustrating because I wish I was there a little earlier."
