Meet Greg Boones top target

Chesapeake (VA) Oscar Smith wide receiver Tommie Lawrence is ready to have a break-out senior season. Lawrence surprised many with his performance at the NIKE Camp at Charlottesville but it was just another day on the field for Lawrence.
"I have not received the hype that many prospects in my area have received. It is not a big deal to me though. I just go out there and shock them and leave them pleasantly surprised," said the 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide out who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

Who is recruiting the talented wide receiver?
"I am hearing the most from Maryland, Pittsburgh, and Penn State. I am also hearing from Tennessee and North Carolina but not as much as the the other three. I don't have any offers yet but Maryland is close to offering me a scholarship."
What does Lawrence look for in a school?
"I want to major in history, so the school needs to have a good program in that major for me. I would like to play for a team with a wide open offense and I would like to play early."
Lawrence has already been looking at the depth charts of the schools that are recruiting him.
"I think Maryland gives me the best chance to get on the field early. They haven't really landed a wide receiver in a while."
Does Lawrence have a favorite?
"I am wide open right now."
Last season, Lawrence had 22 receptions for 465 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned a punt and a kick-off for touchdowns. Lawrence currently has a 2.8 GPA.
