Meagher ready for more involvement in college

Cincinnati (Ohio) Glen Este tight end and Louisville commitment Zachary Meagher had a fine senior season, helping his team to a 9-2 record.
While Meagher's statistics are not overwhelming, 17 catches for 300 plus yards and four touchdowns, playing in a run oriented wing-T offense has to be factored in.

The 6-foot-3 and 248-pound Meagher will play in a much different scheme for the Louisville Cardinals.
"I like the way they use the tight end," Meagher said. "It seems like a good fit for me."
But certainly the Louisville style of offense was not the only reason Meagher selected the Cardinals over scholarship offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Northwestern among others.
"I like the coaching staff at Louisville a lot," Meagher said. "I like the kind of people they are.
"And Louisville is close enough to home. It was just a perfect fit for me."
Meagher is the No. 18 tight end prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 16 prospect in the state of Ohio.
