Meadows sets first official visit

West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West's Kyle Meadows is one of the top uncommitted offensive tackle prospects left in the 2013 class, but the 6-foot-5, 270-pound blocker is starting to make headway towards a decision by scheduling his first official visit.
"I've got one October 20 for West Virginia," Meadows reported. "It was kind of a last minute thing that I decided. They are the only ones so far."

At the beginning of the season Meadows said he was trying to push recruiting as far to the backburner as possible, but knew the time was coming soon when he would have to start setting official visits. West Virginia being the first school the three-star tackle schedules with is not a surprise because they have been the team he has most frequently talked about the last several months.
Meadows did make an unofficial visit to West Virginia over the summer, and also saw Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio State and Tennessee.
This month's trip to Morgantown will be an official visit for the nation's No. 49 ranked offensive tackle. He will have four official visits remaining, but also holds more than 20 scholarship offers.
