MDs Wallace looking for more offers

Greenbelt (Md.) Eleanor Roosevelt defensive end Dalonte Wallace holds three MAC offers from Akron, Buffalo and Eastern Michigan. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder is hearing from a lot of schools in hopes of landing more offers this season.
"As of now everything has stayed the same," he said. "I'm in touch with Syracuse, Michigan State, Illinois, Maryland, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia, Boston College and Wake Forest.

"All of these coaches want to see early film this season. If the film is good then they'll consider offering."
Is Wallace beginning to look at taking any visits this season?
"I've spoken to Illinois about possibly coming up during the season," he said. "Buffalo and Eastern Michigan want me to come too.
"I don't want to get too anxious and rush in to taking visits. I might take all five of my officials after the season is over. I'm really interested in all the schools talking to me."
On the season, Wallace has helped his team to a 2-0 start.
"We've been through a lot," he said. "Last season we lost to a team that won the state title. We worked our real hard in the offseason and are trying to be successful.
"I think I've done well, but it's a team effort. So far this year I've had 20 tackles, six sacks and an interception for a touchdown. I can tell I'm much bigger, faster and stronger than last year. I'm also a much smarter football player this season."
