MDs Davis talks favorites

Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall cornerback Da'Quan Davis holds one offer at this time. The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder is planning to head out on a visit this week and claims five schools stand out at this time.
"I just went to the Pittsburgh 7-on-7 this weekend and it went pretty well," he said. "I played my game and competed to the best of my ability. I'm not really getting recruited by Pittsburgh though, I haven't been in contact with them."

Next up is a trip to Penn State for their spring game this weekend.
"I'm going to Penn State's spring game on the 16th," he said. "Adrian Amos is committed there and I just want to get up there and meet the staff, meet Larry Johnson and get a feel for Penn State's atmosphere. I'm hoping for an offer. Adrian has told me to be patient cause they are traditional and want to see how my senior year goes. They do send me a lot of mail though."
Though he holds one offer from West Virginia, Davis believes more are coming.
"I'm supposed to be getting an offer from Rutgers and Virginia once I get on campus and the coaches can see me," he said. "Coach Poindexter wants me up for a visit to meet me and Rutgers wants to see me in person. They mentioned they always like to get to know the kid personally to find out what type of student athlete he is."
Davis mentioned he has no date for either school at this time.
So, does anyone lead?
"I have some favorites now, in no particular order it's West Virginia, South Carolina, Penn State, Virginia and Rutgers. They are the schools showing the most interest and most love right now."
