MD guard holds one offer

Offensive guard Ryan Bartholomew holds a lone offer from Syracuse. What does the Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha prospect think of the offer?
"It's a very good school with a good coaching staff," he said. "I like a lot of things about them and the campus is nice. The new staff is real good and I especially like the offensive line coach. I visited them this summer and it was a good experience. They are really hard working people there."

Besides Syracuse, the 6-foot-3, 300-pounder is receiving interest from Marshall and Akron.
Bartholomew has even started to consider official visits.
"I'm probably going to take all five visits, but they'll be after the season."
The prospect is hoping to hear from a few other schools between now and then.
"I want to hear from UVA, Virginia Tech and Maryland," he said. "I'm interested in hearing from places closer to home, but I'm not afraid to go away from home either."
Practice for DeMatha starts up on August 10th, what is Bartholomew looking forward to this season?
"I'm very excited and I'm ready to knock some heads and win some games," he said. "I'm looking forward to us running the ball all over the place. For me, I want to work more on my pulling and just perfecting my technique with that."
