MD end delays official visits

Defensive end Jeremiah Martin was scheduled to visit Michigan State last weekend. The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder out of Upper Marlboro (Md.) Gwynn Park has rescheduled his visits and may not be quite ready to decide on Signing Day now.
"I've moved my two visits to Michigan State and Cincinnati back," he said. "I'm looking to head to Michigan State on February 2nd, followed by Cincinnati on the 9th. I had to change them all since I'm taking the SAT this weekend.

"I've talked to both of those schools and they seem to understand and they claim the scholarships are still there. I really want to see everything before I decide."
One school has dropped out of the race for the two-star lineman.
"I held out too long for Tennessee and they told me that they ran out of scholarships," he said. "Besides Cincinnati and Michigan State, I'm still looking at Akron a lot. I like that Akron is family-oriented and I really like the surroundings down there."
Martin went on to talk about his other two finalists.
"I don't know a lot about Cincinnati until I go there," he said. "My recruiter, coach Williams has been very straight forward and is a good guy.
"As for Michigan State, they've got a couple Gwynn Park players on the team. That makes me feel a little more at home there."
