MD backer Brown staying patient

Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara linebacker Khari Brown holds a handful of offers. The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder is gaining interest from a number of other schools and believes more offers could be on the horizon.
"I've got three offers from Buffalo, Liberty and Marshall," he said. "That is still where I'm at right now.

"A lot of schools are asking for my senior film. I know Iowa, Temple, Kansas State, Kansas and Cincinnati are looking at me. I think more schools are going to come in."
Brown is high on Buffalo at this point in time.
"When I went and visited there, they have a strong family based community. They are based on family," he stated. "They also have a new coaching staff from Cincinnati.
"I think they won the MAC last year and I think they have a good chance to win it again. They are making a name for themselves, and it would be really special to be part of that. I like that they also told me I'm their No. 1 middle linebacker."
As he continues to wait for more interest, Brown is focused on the season opener this week against Mount St. Joseph's.
"I think we're a pretty young team, we just have to come together and believe what we can do," he said. "I know I'm going to be ok. I'm going to do a good job filling up the holes."
