MD athlete is getting interest
Severn (Md.) Archbishop Spalding athlete J.D. Izon is receiving interest. Who's taking an interest in the 5-foot-9, 167-pounder to date?
"Columbia has been sending emails, Maryland is sending me something along with West Virginia a bit and Brown," he said. "My brother is playing at Brown."

With recruiting starting up, what does Izon want in a college?
"I want somewhere to go with good academics so I can get my education if football doesn't work out."
Izon earned first team all-conference as a junior after posting 450-yards rushing and eight touchdowns along with 35 tackles and two interceptions.
