McZeal starting to catch looks

Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial wide receiver Jeremy McZeal and the rest of his teammates are trying to get things back to normal after Hurricane Rita made their way into the state. Now, with what seems like a fresh season to play and a new schedule system, McZeal and his team are ready to take advantage.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound pass-catcher McZeal started off the season 0-3, but after the storm forced the team to evacuate and reschedule games, they've come back into a new bracket system and are off to a 1-0 start again.

"The first three games I was actually injured because I was recovering from my knee injury," McZeal said. "I'm feeling a lot better now. In my first game back I had some catches and I'm getting back in it."
Recruiting letters have started from New Mexico, Arizona State, Texas, and Illinois.
"I haven't talked to any of them about an offer," McZeal said. "I really can't tell right now when an offer may come at this point. But, stuff has been coming pretty regularly."
McZeal is just glad to be back on the field.
"When you have something like clots in your knee, it's kind of a big battle to handle," he said. "I'm just glad I'm back and still recovering well."
