McWhirters MSU visit a good experience

Maple Plain (Minn.) Orono defensive back Sean McWhirter is back from his first official visit, a trip to Michigan State. He began the visit without a scholarship offer from the Spartans.
"It went well," McWhirter said. "I liked the atmosphere on campus.
"They have nice facilities. I liked the college town. I liked the players and coaches. They offered me a scholarship. It was a pretty good experience.
"I'm still looking at Minnesota, Iowa State, and Colorado State. All four schools have offered now. I'm going to weigh the pro's and con's of all of them."
McWhirter has not yet scheduled any other official visits, but says he would like to visit the other three schools on his list.
