McReynolds returns from Syracuse

Rivals250 defensive tackle Kevin McReynolds out of Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High took his second official visit this past weekend. The 6-foot-2, 281-pounder fought his way through the snow to check out Syracuse.
"It went well," he said. "You know, the only thing that didn't go well was the travel part of it. I was delayed for six hours.

"Other than that, everything was good. It was definitely a good visit, there was a lot of snow, but it's a great education and I'm blessed with all these opportunities."
What did the four-star prospect do?
"I went out with the players, I got to spend time with them," he said. "I got to learn a lot from the defensive line coach and I saw practice.
"They definitely are very physical, that is something that is very important. You've got to have that physical nature to be an inside player. I think they are going to do well."
McReynolds was hosted by former St. John's running back Antwon Bailey.
"It was good, I played with Antwon for a year, he was the man and is definitely a man now," he said. "Antwon and I could relate since we came from the same area."
Before leaving on Sunday, McReynolds met with the staff more.
"It went really well," he said. "The coaching staff is the real deal, they understand their players.
"They also have a tremendous business school, it's definitely one of the premiere business schools in the country and a major factor."
He added a final though.
"The people are great and this was definitely a town and community that grasps football," he said. "They've been in a drought for a good number of years, but they are starting to get back to their roots at that school."
McReynolds plans to take his officials to Arkansas and Oregon on January 7th and the 14th followed by a trip to South Carolina in the final week of January, midweek on January 29th.
