Hyattsville (Md.) Dematha wide receiver Derrick McPhearson has made his decision. Heading into his announcement, McPhearson had narrowed his list to Florida, Virginia Tech, and Maryland. Who did McPhearson select?
"I am going to Florida," said the 5-foot-11, 175 pound play maker who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.
Why did McPhearson select Florida?
"I felt very comfortable there on my visit. They have a proud football tradition. They play in the SEC and that is very appealing to me. The facilities are great and meshed well with the coaches and players there."
McPhearson, a three star prospect, is rated the No. 42 wide receiver in the nation.
