McPhearson still waiting

Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic three-star receiver Derrick McPhearson was scheduled to announce his decision tonight on Comcast Sports’ Sports Nite. However, there has been a slight delay.

“I have not made my decision,” McPhearson, ranked as the nation’s No. 42 receiver in the nation by Rivals.com, said. “I will make my decision tomorrow at school. I still haven’t figured out where I’m going. I just have to discuss it as a family, continue to pray on it and come up with an ultimate decision.”

McPhearson said he did have a family meeting for about two hours last night and still couldn’t come up with a final decision between Florida, Maryland and Virginia Tech.

“I need to find the school that’s going to fit me academically, socially and emotionally,” McPhearson said.
