McNeil comments on Florida situation

Collins, Miss., center Josh McNeil is arguably the best player in America at his position. He has already taken two official visits and was on hand this weekend to watch the Mississippi State-Florida game, ironically both schools are currently in his top five.
“I really feel bad for coach Zook and all of the coaches and their families,” McNeil said. “They are all really good guys and this is not a good situation for anyone to have to be in. I hate to see this happen to them.”

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound McNeil runs the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds, has a 355-pound bench press and a 500-pound squat.
“I would say this definitely hurts Florida some with me,” McNeil said. “I still like Florida, but I am just taking a wait and see approach. Coach Wickline and I had a really good relationship so I want to see what happens with him and all the assistants and who they bring in.”
McNeil has already taken official visits to Florida and Mississippi State and will officially visits LSU next on November 13 when they host Alabama.
