McNeal still committed, sets visit

Dallas (Texas) Madison running back Shawnbrey McNeal made a big commitment in mid-September to Texas A&M with a television announcement. Close to a month afterwards, he took an official visit to Texas Tech. Things are still a bit up in the air for the talented runner.
The 5-foot-9, 181-pounder says that he is still committed to Texas A&M and that hasn't changed once since he decided. However, he did say that Texas Tech is somewhat in the picture.

"I just like the environment up there," McNeal said about Tech. "I like the running backs coach and really all the coaches there. They weren't acting any different and treating me special because I was a recruit.
"I was just treated like any other person."
McNeal says that the Aggies staff weren't real high on him taking visits, but they'll get their chance to show their stuff this weekend when he is possibly set to take his visit to College Station in a few weeks.
"I think I'm going up there for a home game," he said. "I'm not sure, but it may be for an official visit."
McNeal says that he has no other visits planned at this point except to visit Texas A&M in the near future.
