McNeal impressed with Badgers win

Prairie Du Sac (Wisc.) Sauk Prairie tight end Kenneth McNeal visited Wisconsin for the Badgers' 38-30 win over Michigan State. The 2011 prospect lives just 25 miles from Madison, and had the chance to take an inside look at the program.
"It was awesome, I think they have really nice facilities," McNeal said. "My favorite part of the game was the atmosphere the students bring to the game, it is pretty unique I think. I think the team did a good job, they got the win, they all played well. It was cool to watch the team when the clicked like that."

McNeal said his head recruiter at Wisconsin is Bob Bostad, offensive line coach and running game coordinator.
"They said they speak of me quite a bit, and they hear a lot of good things about me," McNeal said. "I think their interest in me is pretty significant. They seemed to like me."
McNeal said he arrived on campus at about nine o'clock.
"We took a tour of everything and went into the weight room. They, we checked out the recovery room, the training room. I saw the whirlpool and the x-ray machine."
McNeal's current team is off to a slow start with a 1-4 record. McNeal is playing tight end and running back. He is looking at some more opportunities to visit schools.
"Notre Dame sent me several dates that they would like to choose from and come down and see a game," McNeal said. "I am going into this not really knowing anything about Notre Dame, hopefully when I go down I will get educated and see what it is like. Indiana is also sending me some dates to check out a game there."
