McNair wants it in writing
Pelahatchie, Miss., athlete Kenji McNair, who is 6-foot-3 and 208 pounds, has a top three list and says he’s close to officially narrowing those three to the final three.
“I’m thinking pretty hard about Mississippi State, Southern Miss and West Virginia,” McNair said. “I think those teams are the best fits for me. I can play a number of positions at Mississippi State and Southern Miss. I like that.

“But West Virginia has been talking to me about quarterback, and that’s something I like to hear. They have a similar offense and we do a lot of the same stuff. The coaches up there say that I can learn the system really quickly.”
He said he is unsure whether or not those teams have officially offered him scholarships.
“They sound like they have on the phone, but I don’t know,” he said. “My coach said to get it in writing.”
