McMillians mailbox is overflowing

Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast junior linebacker Daniel McMillian isn't sure exactly how many verbal offers he has at this time. He just knows that he has a lot of them. His mailbox is overflowing with correspondence from interested schools and that trend doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
"I know the main schools that are sending me mail, and that I am pretty sure have offered me, they are Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, USF, and West Virginia, as well as a lot of smaller schools," McMillian said. "All of those schools are sending me a lot of mail and I am pretty sure when they can physically offer me, they will."

Recently, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker visited Clemson when the Tigers hosted Wofford.
"It was wonderful," McMillian said. "I love the atmosphere there. It is live. They have great fans. I can just really see myself up there. I want to get back there for another game."
In addition to returning to Clemson for another viist, McMillian is interested in seeing a few other schools.
"I know I want to visit Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Florida State, and Mississippi State for a game," McMilian said. "I don't have any plans right now though."
At this stage of the process, McMilian says he is trying to avoid naming an early leader and rushing any kind of decision.
"I try not to choose and pick right now because I haven't seen all of them," McMilian said. "I don't want to choose one now and commit and then go to another school and realize it is better. So I just plan to take my time and take my visits."
When the time comes to decide, what he is looking for in a school is simple.
"I want to find a place where I can feel like I am at home," McMilian said. "I am just looking for a place where I can compete for my position early on."
McMilian, who plays inside linebacker at this time, said he believes he could end up an outside linebacker or defensive end at the next level.
