McMillian didn't take visits this season, but noted plans to try to get to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Stanford sometime soon.
So, does he like anyone?
"I'm really interested in Stanford because of their engineering program," he said. "They have shown me interest, but not as much as other schools. The education is the big part of it for Stanford.
"Also, Georgia Tech is another school with a really good engineering program. I think they are considering offering me this offseason and I'm interested in them."
Interest is going to pick up in a hurry and McMillian went a bit further on what he wants in a college.
"I want somewhere I'm going to get redshirted my first year, so I can have that extra year of academics and come out with my masters," he said. "Other than that, I want to get playing time as soon as possible. I don't want to be on the bench. I want to use the talents God gave me."
With respect to his position, McMillian notes that most schools are considering quarterback, but a few are discussed athlete.
"I care about what position I play, I'd prefer quarterback," he said. "If it doesn't work out, I'm fine with playing something else."
McMillian and C.D. Hylton just concluded their season, falling 21-14 to Ocean Lakes over the weekend in the state semifinals.
