McMillan to visit Buckeyes, Gamecocks

Some schools are recruiting sophomore Raekwon McMillan of Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty County to play inside linebacker. Others prefer him outside.
According to the 6-feet-3, 235-pound McMillan, he'd be happy at either spot.

"Ole Miss wants to see me come off the edge. South Carolina and Georgia Tech, too," McMillan told Rivals.com. "Georgia wants me to stay inside. You know, I'm competitive. It doesn't matter where they put me."
Thus far, McMillan holds offers from Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Alabama State. McMillan said the Bulldogs were the most recent to offer, doing so earlier this month after he visited Athens.
"It was great," he said of the trip. "When I got there they all greeted me, and all the coaches knew me. [Georgia linebacker] Jarvis Jones toured me around the campus. It was real nice. I think Georgia is recruiting me the hardest. They check on me every two or three days. They call my coach and ask how I'm doing."
McMillan has yet to visit any other schools in 2012, but that will change next weekend.
"I go to Ohio State on April 1," McMillan said. "They're going to offer. They just want to see me personally. On the way back to Georgia, I'm going to visit South Carolina."
According to McMillan, an in-state program might be next to pull the trigger.
"I think this week Georgia Tech also should be offering," he said.
At this point, McMillan said he doesn't yet have any favorites.
"It's really too early," McMillan said. "I'm keeping my options open."
In 2011, McMillan recorded 97 tackles and two sacks.
