McMichael wanted in two sports

Minneapolis (Minn.) Breck two-way standout Jordan McMichael has recruiters interested not only for his talents at both tight end and defensive end, but his abilities on the basketball court as well.
The 6-foot-5 and 230 pound McMichael was an all-conference selection on the grid-iron this season as he caught 30 passes for 412 yards, averaging 13.7 yards per reception. He scored seven times.

McMichael also made 43 solo tackles and had 37 assists from his defensive end spot. He registered 13 sacks.
On the basketball court McMichael plays forward and is averaging 16 points per game. He has been a varsity starter in hoops since his freshman year.
"I'm thinking about both sports, but I don't think I would try to play both of them in college," McMichael said.
"For football I'm thinking about Stanford, Northwestern, Iowa, USC, Minnesota, Duke, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, most of the Big Ten schools.
"For basketball it's Iowa State, Cornell, Drake, Augustana, Minnesota State, and maybe a couple of others.
"I went to a Minnesota junior day. I'm going to Wisconsin March 6 for their junior day.
"Minnesota was pretty nice. The weight room is really nice. The coaching staff seemed nice. It had a good feel to it at Minnesota."
