McLendon still leaning toward UGA

Eric McLendon has been leaning toward UGA for almost the entire recruiting process, so many people thought there was a chance the four-star defensive tackle from Vidalia, Ga., could commit this weekend.
So did he?

“No, I didn’t,” he said. “But Georgia is still very much the leader. They’re No. 1 on my list. But I won’t announce my decision until singing day.”
Still, thought, it’s clear that UGA is going to be tough to beat.
“I really had a fun time with the players,” he said. “We just hung out and goofed around with all of the others guys. That was probably the best thing – just hanging around with the fellas.”
McLendon, ranked No. 6 at defensive tackles, is scheduled to visit Middle Tennessee State next weekend and he’s talking to LSU about a visit.
“I don’t have a date with them yet,” he said. “But I would like to go visit the national champions.”
