McKinley ready for final visit

Javon McKinley has one official visit left and then the four-star wide receiver should be ready to make his decision.
The Corona (Calif.) Centennial standout won't announce his pledge until the U.S. Army All-American Bowl but this last trip should be huge as he weighs his five favorites in the coming weeks.

"I have the UCLA official coming up, I don't know what date, but it's early December," McKinley said.
"I would say after that visit it's going to be decision time but I'm going to wait until the U.S. Army Bowl to officially announce it."
The four-star receiver has a top five of UCLA, Oregon, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Washington.
A couple former Corona Centennial teammates are already at Oregon and McKinley is a close friend of Ducks' pledge Troy Dye. Those are considering factors but McKinley said he's going to make his own choice.
"I wouldn't say it affects it a lot, it's really a decision for myself, but if I do go there then it would definitely be nice to have them there, guys I grew up with especially Troy and guys I played with a lot," McKinley said. "We'd have a really good time up there."
The UCLA visit will definitely be important. McKinley and his parents will spend time on campus, meet with the coaches and players and then after that trip he should be ready to figure out his decision.
"Really it's just my parents have a list of questions they want to ask, I want to see what they have to offer me and I want to see the players," McKinley said.
"I don't really get to hang out with them all that much. I just want to see what they're like and how they like the coaches."
