McKinley lands second offer

Javon McKinley attended a bunch of camps this summer, landed a new offer and the 2016 wide receiver could be close to more as well.
The Corona (Calif.) Centennial standout who looked good last weekend at the Battle at the Beach 7on7 said his new offer from Washington is definitely big and he loved his visit to that campus.

"I went to a couple camps at Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA," McKinley said. "Oregon and Washington were mainly the schools that were interested in me.
"Oregon said they were going to offer me. Washington did offer me while I was up at the camp. I got to see the campus, it was really nice. They have a really nice business school and I want to get into that. Oregon might be waiting to see what I do during the season in pads and all that."
McKinley, a 6-foot-2, 196-pound prospect who also looked good at the B2G Elite Camp this summer, landed his first offer from Arizona State earlier and it was a complete surprise. Still, the Sun Devils will get a serious look as McKinley enters his junior season.
"ASU was out of the blue," McKinley said. "I never really talked to the school at all. The coach just came up and offered me. It was really surprising."
The Corona Centennial standout said he's also very interested in USC and UCLA but isn't quite sure how much those two programs are looking at him right now.
For McKinley, the focus is on Arizona State and Washington - his two offers - hearing more from Oregon and getting ready for a big junior season.
"I like the schools (USC and UCLA) but they're really not looking at me like other schools," McKinley said. "I still have them out there as an option where I want to go."
