Erick McGriff is another standout wide receiver prospect from the Sunshine State. McGriff, 6-4 and 196 pounds, is from Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit High School. McGriff has been busy this summer camping. So far he has been to Georgia, Georgia Tech and Florida and he will camp at Florida State in July.
"Georgia was a real good camp," McGriff said. "I got lots of work and spent time with the coaches up there.

"I only spent one day at Georgia Tech and didn't get as much work as I would have liked. I think that offense is going to be good and I am looking forward to seeing them this fall.
"I just got from Florida's camp last week. I learned a lot of stuff that I can take back with me and work on at home."
Last season as a junior McGriff caught 25 passes for over 500 yards and five scores. He's a big, physical wideout that is good in the air.
"I just find a way to get open. I am physical in the air and physical at the line of scrimmage. I can get off the press and jam well."
According to McGriff he has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Kansas, Troy, Cincinnati, and Auburn. For now he remains open.
"I am just looking around and checking out all the schools. I want to try and see Boston College and I would like to check out Auburn. I just want to visit some schools."
