McGraw a name to watch

North Ridgeville, Ohio, running back John McGraw might not have as eye-popping stats as some other running backs in the state of Ohio, but it's not because he's not a talented back.
The 5-foot-8, 185-pound McGraw played on a team that had a Division I receiver, another receiver that signed a college scholarship and a quarterback that also moved on to the next level. Combine all those things and there just weren't enough balls to go around for McGraw, but that still didn't stop him from racking up more than 1,00 yards rushing as a junior.

"He'd have a lot more yards if he played for a different program," North Ridgeville coach Jason Ward said. "We were more of a throwing offense last year because of the guys we had back, but we could always rely on John to get some tough yards for us when we needed it.
"He's got really good speed, can bench-press 300 pounds, and we're excited to have him back next year. We're expecting even bigger things from him this next year."
So are the college coaches.
He's already receiving regular mail from Pittsburgh, Illinois and MAC programs like Akron, Miami of Ohio and Toledo.
