McGillicuddy setting visits

Worcester (Mass.) St. John's defensive tackle James McGillicuddy has set his first two official visits and is really coming on of late on the football field.
"I'm taking an official visit to Boston College on Dec. 10 and to Stanford on Dec. 17," said the 6-foot-4, 289-pounder. "I also plan on visiting Duke for sure, just not sure what date yet. Notre Dame and Tennessee are still talking about an offer and Vanderbilt said they'll offer this week. Those are pretty much the teams I'm interested in."

McGillicuddy registered 4.5 sacks last weekend, giving him more than 10 on the season. He has taken two unofficial visits to Boston College so far, but does not have a leader.
"Academics are key obviously and it just comes down to whether I want to stay around here or get away to go to school," he said. "I'll take my visits and see."
One thing has helped Boston College a bit.
"I hung out with Pat Sheil (committed offensive lineman) on his official visit to BC and he's a great guy," he said. "We talked about playing together."
McGillicuddy is ranked as the No. 10 defensive tackle in the country.
