McGill planning more visits

Junior defensive tackle Demetri McGill of Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes recently concluded his junior season, and is now eager to focus on his recruiting process. McGill already took two visits during the fall and has a few ideas of where else he would like to visit.
"I'm getting a lot of letters," said McGill, who is 6-foot-3 and 290-pounds. "I get the most letters from North Carolina, Vandy and Virginia."

Earlier this fall, McGill took unofficial visits to both Virginia and North Carolina.
"I went to Virginia on their Homecoming and the crowd was live," said McGill. "And UNC was very interesting. The defensive line coach was really cool and I got to meet his family after the game."
With these two visits behind him, McGill has three other schools in mind to check out in person.
"I'd like to visit Miami, Florida State and Penn State," said McGill. "I'm just looking for a comfortable place and a place where I can fit in and feel at home."
McGill finished his junior season with 74 tackles and 12 sacks.
"We lost to Salem in the first round of the playoffs," said McGill. "I improved with using my hands, keeping my cool and being a leader."
