McGhee re-opens recruitment

In June, Bossier City (La.) Parkway three-star defensive tackle Antonio McGhee committed to the Tulane Green Wave citing their academics and coaching staff as big reasons for his decision.
Sunday evening though, he decided he needed to make another decision and re-opened his recruitment.

"I de-committed from Tulane," McGhee said. "I think I made some mistakes committing too early and I just got caught up in on the hype and excitement and I realized I didn't have time to explore all of my other options. So I am de-committing to explore my other options, and will not make another decision until signing day."
McGhee listed the likes of LSU, South Carolina (offered), Ole Miss (offered), Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech (formerly committed, offered), and Oregon State (offered) as schools who have expressed interest and he is also keeping an eye on Tulane.
"Yeah they're still in the mix, but I just have to explore my options," McGhee said of Tulane.
McGhee plans to take an unofficial to LSU in the near future, and also mentioned he may take an unofficial to Louisiana Tech to watch a game. He also did mention Oregon State, LSU, Louisiana Tech, and South Carolina as possible official visit destinations.
The standout defensive tackle is not naming any favorites right now, but does have an idea of what he is looking for in a future college program.
"Somewhere I feel is right," McGhee said. "I just need to pray about it and ask God to guide me to the right school."
