McGaster high on Mississippi State

Foley (Ala.) defensive end Dre'Shon McGaster is enjoying his experience at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound defensive end is squaring off against the offensive line for Alabama throughout the week in preparation for Saturday's game against the Magnolia State.
"They are kind of big," McGaster said of Alabama's offensive linemen. "I am just doing my thing and trying to do my best. It is fun. We are trying to get a win."

As for recruiting, the three-star prospect said one school has made a major move up his list after a recent trip.
"I really want to go to Mississippi State," McGaster said. "I went up there last weekend and I just really liked their staff."
When asked about other Division I schools actively pursuing him, McGaster said that there isn't really any at this point. While he holds offers from the likes of Florida International, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech, his most significant interest outside of Mississippi State is from junior colleges.
"I am hearing from some JUCO's," McGaster said. "I have the grades, I just have to get all of my classes."
At this time, McGaster does not have any other visits set up.
