McGaffie still sitting at one

Galena Park, Texas athlete Gahn McGaffie sits with one scholarship offer so far.
The 5-foot-10 utility athlete can offer Division I schools several different options. He started out as a freshman game-breaking, and has been the Yellow Jackets' starting quarterback ever since. As a collegiate, he could be used as an inside receiver, defensive back and return specialist.

"I love the ball in my hands and feel my strength is my leadership," McGaffie said. "I've always been like that."
McGaffie was offered early in the fall by Nebraska but has yet to pick up his second official.
"I'm getting a lot of text messages from Colorado and LSU," McGaffie said. "The offers will come, I just have to be patient. I'm really excited about spring practice because I know there will be coaches there. This is my senior year, so we plan on making the most of it."
McGaffie played for his school's basketball team and is running a little track, but his main focus is training for the upcoming season.
"I'm ready to get the pads on," he said. "I'm just lifting and running a lot right now. I'm doing a lot of extra work on my own and with my full back."
